John T. Jones has dedicated over forty years of his life to breeding, developing, showing and selling top young show prospects. He has to his credit over one hundred World Championships, Reserve World Championships and a total of seven World Grand Championships in the Fine Harness division. John earned six of those Fine Harness titles between 2000 and 2006 with Fox Grape Farm’s grand gelding Callaway’s Copyright. John and Copyright made history by winning more consecutive World Grand Championships for the Open Fine Harness division than any other horse in the history of the breed.
While John is best known for his abilities with young horses, amateur riders have benefited equally from his ability to select and train horses that transition smoothly into the hands of amateurs across the country. Countless numbers of Amateur, Ladies and Junior Exhibitor champions and World Champions began their show careers under John’s expert guidance. Such notable champions as Marching Orders, According to Lynn, and Walterway’s Remember Me began their careers with John and are capably ridden by amateurs in the show ring today. For a complete bio on his career and accomplishments look under the “About” tab on this webpage.
Breeding quality American Saddlebreds has been a big part of John’s background. He currently keeps several broodmares and raises several colts each year. He owned CH The King Of Highpoint until his death in 2005. His progeny are showing successfully from coast to coast and CH The King of Highpoint is still appearing on top-sire lists throughout the country. John maintains frozen semen on The King Of Highpoint to use on his own mares and he is also making it available to breeders. He also owns My Royale Charm (WCC Santana’s Charm x WCC My Bugatti Royale by Local Hero). This beautiful young horse is a full brother to World’s Grand Champion Our Charming Lady and World’s Champion I’m Royalty Too. He is standing the 2009 season at Parker View Farm in Versailles, Kentucky. For more information click on the “Breeding” page.
